Since December 2023, the university has been leading the ASSET \u2013 Teaching Accounting for Sustainability, Social and Environmental Transparency project<\/strong>, under the Erasmus+ Higher Education programs.<\/p>\n The first of the Intensive Study Programs (ISP) took place in Urbino from September 2\u20136, 2024<\/strong>, welcoming 70 students and faculty from partner universities across Europe, including France, Portugal, Spain, Greece, Austria, Lithuania, and Romania<\/strong>.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https:\/\/project.uniurb.it\/asset\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/4.png” title_text=”4″ _builder_version=”4.24.3″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.24.3″ _module_preset=”default” custom_padding=”||0px|||” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n We had the pleasure of speaking with <\/span>Paolo Palladino<\/b>, a master\u2019s student in Economics, Management, and Finance at the University of Urbino, about his experience in the <\/span>ASSET project<\/b>\u2019s <\/span>Intensive Study Program (ISP)<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n The ISP was not just about theoretical learning \u2013 it was about <\/span>active engagement and collaboration<\/b>. Paolo explained, <\/span>\u201cWe worked in diverse teams of 5-8 people, changing every day, which allowed us to interact with classmates and professors from different countries and perspectives. The professors didn\u2019t just teach theory, but also guided us closely in practical application. It was a truly immersive experience. We practice teamwork in our regular coursework, but this international interaction added a new level of effectiveness. Plus, I made some great friendships along the way!\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n Paolo left the program feeling <\/span>inspired<\/b> and <\/span>motivated<\/b> to continue exploring these vital topics, and he hopes to participate again next year.<\/span><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”4.24.3″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_image src=”https:\/\/project.uniurb.it\/asset\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/5.png” title_text=”5″ _builder_version=”4.24.3″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.24.3″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n We caught up with <\/span>Daniela Genito<\/b>, a master\u2019s student in Economics, Management, and Finance at the University of Urbino, to hear about her experience at the <\/span>ASSET project<\/b>‘s <\/span>Intensive Study Program (ISP)<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n The ISP helped Daniela strengthen her <\/span>teamwork<\/b> and <\/span>problem-solving abilities<\/b>: <\/span>\u201cWe worked with people we had never met before, communicated in English, and had to find shared solutions under tight deadlines. It was a great opportunity to improve my problem-solving skills while also deepening my theoretical knowledge. Of course, language barriers sometimes made discussions and technical topics challenging, but I saw this as a productive stress test.
