Nell\u2019ambito della ricerca scientifica di laboratorio lo strumento pu\u00f2 essere ad esempio utilizzato per la misurazione dei parametri biologici di sospensioni eritrocitarie pre- e post manipolazione, finalizzata alla valutazione dell\u2019integrit\u00e0 cellulare dei globuli rossi (e dell\u2019ematocrito, HCT) utilizzati come possibili \u201ccarriers\u201d cellulari per il \u201cdrug delivery\u201d.
