The ASSET project (Accounting for Sustainability, Social and Environmental Transparency) is pleased to announce that preparations are currently underway for the next Intensive Study Program (ISP), which will take place at Johannes Kepler University Linz (Austria) from 14 to 18 September 2026.
Building on the success of previous editions, the ISP continues to offer an innovative international learning experience in the field of accounting, with a strong focus on sustainability, ESG reporting, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The program brings together students and academic staff from partner universities across Europe to engage in interactive lectures, case studies, and group-based problem solving in a truly international environment.
One of the core strengths of the ASSET ISP is its experiential learning approach. Students are not only exposed to advanced technical content, but also actively participate in discussions, teamwork, and applied exercises designed to reflect real-world professional challenges in sustainable accounting and assurance.

💬 What did past students think?
As the next ISP is being prepared, we warmly invite prospective participants to explore the reflections and testimonials from previous editions. Student feedback from past ISPs highlights the transformative value of the program: the opportunity to work in multicultural teams, improve communication skills in English, and develop a deeper understanding of how sustainability is reshaping the accounting profession.

These experiences show how the ISP is not only an academic program, but also a space for personal growth, international networking, and critical reflection on the future role of accountants in society.
As we move toward the 2026 edition in Linz, students enrolled at ASSET partner universities are encouraged to contact their local project coordinators or international offices for more information about participation and selection procedures.
Stay tuned for further updates as the program takes shape — we look forward to welcoming the next generation of ASSET students to Linz!
