This project aims at producing digital 3D artefacts that represent selected artworks by Marta Czok, capturing their materials' behavioural properties in relation to light, to provide a perceptually accurate replica that documents the materials used, their deposition techniques and conservation status. These characteristics form part of a broader heritage preservation context, as digital reproductions created in this way are intended not only for exhibition visitors or tourists, but particularly for restorers, art historians and museum curators.
The aim is to create digital replicas of original paintings meant to reproduce and analytically show in perceptive form the three-dimensionality of the graphic sign, thus allowing a visual replication of the works, documenting the subject of the paintings and how they were prepared.
